Most people consider the automobile a necessity rather than a luxury; yet it is for this very reason that the automobile so aptly supports the speaker's point. To the extent that we depend on cars as crutches, they prevent us from becoming truly independent and strong in character as individuals. Consider first the effect of the automobile on our independence as individuals. In some respects the automobile serves to enhance such independence. For example, cars make it possible for people in isolated and depressed areas without public transportation to become more independent by pursing gainful employment outside their communities.

Jobs are hard to find these days, especially when they are seeking a High School diploma or a College degree of some sort. My returning back to school is the best decision that I have made thus far and when I finally graduate, I will know for sure that I made the right choice. My family has a lot to do with me returning to college, I know that there are different job opportunities for me. In order to make it in this world, you have to have some type of degree. Having financial problems played a factor also in my returning to school.
Higher education is an important aspect in our lives, not many people can argue with that. Without it, we have a limited opportunity to gain an education, and continue to keep growing and learning. Many future career prospects can be thought unattainable or are denied due to the lack of a diploma from a college or university. However, the system set up for higher education in America at present has a lot of work to be done. I, for one, think that our educational system needs to be revamped almost completely.
Personal and Professional Goals There are two main reasons why I wanted to pursue my graduate study. First is for my professional growth to expand my nursing knowledge. I believe that nursing is a continuous learning process and what I learn yesterday is different from today. Second is more of my personal reason, and that is for my self-satisfaction. I want to feel good about myself by boosting my self-esteem and reaching my maximum potential.
As one can see, my personal integrity and values have definitely played an important role in my life and professional career. Over the past eight years I have worked at a variety jobs where I could have chosen to pursue the field further but did not for multiple reasons. Lack of adult education and inadequate training and development programs has definitely held me back professionally from positions where I know I would thrive. I’ll never forget the first time I learned of Diane Von Furstenberg’s quote as a young professional struggling to find her career identity. Instantaneously, I felt a sense of relief because I too am a young professional who is struggling to find her way.
Where do you see/sense problems? According to our analysis, Marc Levine did not manage this project extremely well as there were shortcomings in the execution of the project. He has taken a good start with selecting a strong team for the project including a combination of internal and external people with required expertise for the project. Then with the support of CEO d’Arbeloff, Aurora team has been established as an autonomous unit with a separate board of directors and was empowered to carry out various project phases. Levine has put a lot of efforts for success of the project but at the same time he had a personal interest of becoming independent GM in the company.
Attending college changed my life in many ways. College has helped me to become an independent student. I have to work even harder because I attend online classes instead of an on campus university. I always knew that I wanted to go to college, but wasn't quite motivated and didn't really know what I wanted to major in. I noticed that I wasn't too happy with only working part-time here and there, so I gave the idea of going to college a thought.
In previous generations, there were many levels of jobs available for those without a college education or in some cases, even a high school diploma. However, now in our generation, many of these jobs simply do not exist any longer or now require college education. Most employers love to make sure their employees have a well rounded basic education so that they know the high level of profits their businesses could possibly achieve, a degree will help prove those qualities in them. Also, when I am well educated in my field of work, the output is efficient and easy. Having a degree in my field of studies will enlighten all the areas of my career that I did not know about, and I will be able to perfect my performances.
Like with being in school I motivated by this context because I know that all the things that I am learning will help me in my career once I receive my degree. I am motivated by personal context because I like to know that what I am learning is going to help me in the future and that I have a goal and that by learning new things, I am working towards my goal.
