When Curley's wife screamed, he didn't know how to make her stop except to do what he did, but he did not intend to kill her. Curley, of course, is also looking for a way to achieve revenge for Lennie's crushing his hand so he will definitely try to kill Lennie in the most cruel way possible. They planned to earn money then move out, but everything changed because of Lennie’s actions.
When George realizes that Curley is going to kill l Lennie but not in an unpainful way and slow way, George realizes that the only way to stop Curley from brutally killing Lennie is to steal Carlson's luger and kill Lennie Himself, George knew he was going to die anyway. 15. Now it’s ironic how they were great friends and companions towards each other, however Macbeth is the one who ultimately kills Banquo without even laying a finger on him. Macbeth’s guilt from Duncan’s murder carried on in Macbeth’s life, as he was too scared to fight off this darkness. Now Macbeth was faced with a decision whether or not to murder Banquo to keep his royal prophecies true. With the help of his gang, the decision was clear enough for him not to pass. Instead of Macbeth directly killing Banquo, Macbeth hired his gang members to act out this murder.
