Everybody has their own dreams and then they have to follow them to make them become true. One of my best-loved quotes is “If you never chase your dream, you will never CATCH them”. I truly believe that because it happened to me. Since I was a little girl, I had a dream of going to a new place to enrich my knowledge and discover new things. In my mind, I have always thought that studying abroad is one of the most important roles that I must complete to change my life. It will open doors to invaluable opportunities. My life would go to a brand new, brighter page. Luckily, I have a great mom who always supports me and encourages me in every step of my life. And once upon a time, when I was 16, she decided to give me a huge chance to study abroad. I am always thankful to her because of what she has done for me. With all her efforts, I am able to fulfill my dream. I flew from Vung Tau city to Hanoi, the Vietnamese capital, for my visa interview. I was ready for the interview with all the wishes from my family and my relatives. After having heard that I was granted the VISA to America by the interviewer, I burst into tears at once, right at the interviewing office. No words can describe how I was feeling at that time because I could not dare to believe that my dream was able to become true. A lot of thoughts and emotions rushed to me. It was unbelievable that I would set my foot on America land by myself without any help from my family. The idea that I would be far away from my parents, my family and my country made me both excited and a little bit anxious about the journey to America. Nevertheless, when I came home, every day, I counted how many days left that I would go to America. I was full of optimism and excitement about my new life, and I strongly believed that I would become a new and different person. It was like a huge revolution of my life and my future.
