John Sullivan and Kurt were good friends that were very comfortable with each family. John’s career began at the bottom and rose ever since as much as Kurt has done in this book which was a good look. When Kurt began to realized and get into that he was a manager of safety now, he did not have any experience with it. So when he was talking with his wife Jessica about the inexperience about safety, she was telling him about her father’s friend who Kurt remembered that received a safety award and had a great background in safety, which is the next main character in the story, Sam Rollins. 2 Sam Rollins was the man that Kurt went to for guidance and mentor him about the field.
His lessons therefore contribute to the success of the quest. Somax a “humble carter,” the lessons he is able to teach to Priam, many of which were not with the intention to educate. For him these were mere common courtesies and practise as he is described as an “ordinary man” who has had “nothing to do with princes until now”. Malouf uses this to emphasise how disconnected Priam is to being a mortal and how his “ceremonial role” has essentially removed him, with his comparison of an “obedient toddler.” This is furthered by Priam learning of the “griddlecakes” which both sparked his imagination and the idea that food originates from ingredients. Somax’s story of the “daughter in law” helps to recreate a lost feature in Priam, his imagination and the will to speak just for a conversation.
It then becomes easy for the reader to understand why the unnamed man chooses to read in the store, because despite all Fat Maz's soul searching and her father's bad temper, the newsagency is actually a very place with a homey feel. Also a familiar place the reader can relate

The theme in the play explores love, courage, deception, and marriage. Love is an obstacle as illustrated by Max, who struggles to get Maggie to reciprocate his feeling, but Maggie is trying to get Tito, and Tito is just utterly confused by everyone. In the end, Maggie falls in love with Tito but finds out later that the whole time it was Max. She didn’t realize that all along her love was right in front of her because she was blinded by infatuation with Tito. Another theme is finding courage to pursue one’s dreams depicted when Max overcomes his fear of singing in front of a large crowd and builds up confidence.
He treated Sam well and taught him the ropes when everyone else made fun of him as soon as he walked through the gym door. It showed me a lot about Tiny, and possibly that Tiny was Sam one day and was just retuning the favor. The authors writing style is very easy to follow and understanding, but at times he makes it intense when needed. He writes in a style that keeps you interested all times but does not leave you hanging or guessing. That is the strength of the book I think, not the simplicity but the way he makes you feel as though you are the writer.
9. Then a smile played on my father's lips. He opened his arms. I put the kite down and walked into his thick hairy arms. Although Baba is very judgmental and strict towards Amir, he loves seeing him succeed.
Doodle’s brother and Joe compare because Doodle and Simon both depend on these boys for things. They both help to mentor, push, and help Doodle and Simon to do their best. Simon had an impeccable faith in all and in God. Doodle had faith in his brother and himself towards the end of his life. Both boys have pride in themselves because they both are pushing themselves for the better, and they believe vanity is utterly unimportant.
The thing I can say that he did well was like I said take his pride to the next level, but he is the complete opposite of what my grandfather on my father’s side. He was a very kind man and cared deeply about me and I cared about him deeply to and also we did a lot together, he introduced me to what sugar canes were and boy was it delicious, but anyways it was a great thing to be able to meet him. My grandmother from my father’s side was also kind and she loved me even more than my grandfather did . It bothers me that she passed away just recently and I loved her with everything that I am. I was very blessed to be able to meet her and at least my other grandfathers, but to meet my other grandmother would’ve made my life complete, till this day I regret not being able to meet my grandmother,
To me he seems almost like the mother of the group, by all the ways that he helps out like saving them multiple time while they are in great danger and pointing them into the right direction. Another way that you can tell that he is one of the wiser characters is by a lot of the things that he says. In the end of this book he makes the quote: “You are a very fine person, Mr. Baggins, and I am quite fond if you; but you are only quite a little fellow in a wide world after all”. I think this quote says more than enough about how wise Gandalf really is. Another trait of Gandalf is how trusting he is towards Bilbo.
