My personal ethics lens includes my personal actions and behaviors, my core values, and responsibilities. My personal preferred lens is the results lens and the reputation lens. I sensibly listen to my intuition to determine the best for everyone and the character traits and ethic beliefs that will best suit my fellow classmates. I am sometimes content with too little and have unrealistic role expectations, relying too much on the virtues related to someone’s role, absent to the fact that others can fail regardless of their part in the project. However, I am very self-reliant and posses accountability.
Abstract The Life Styles Inventory (LSI) which I took identifies the thoughts and motivations which guide me as an individual and including behaviors. The LSI referred to my personal, management and leadership style .These areas will show the core of an individual's effectiveness or in this case my style and effectiveness. The characteristic of a person’s thinking and behavior contributes greatly to the way a person or individual performs their duties. Fortunately, people have the ability to change unsuccessful reasoning and behavior in such ways that can change an person’s effectiveness. It's not my intention to go about changing anyone's life but to live my life to best of my ability and fulfill myself and in that process those I come in contact with will hopefully benefit from something I do or say to them out of love and compassion for my friends and family. My voice should be heard when I see injustice, when I can improve something, when I have an idea, when I need to express myself, or when I can speak for the voiceless. Because everyone has equal dignity and worth, everyone’s ideas are equally true. False, some people have incorrect ideas. They have the right to believe what they want, but that doesn’t mean that their ideas are correct.
My competencies are as follows adhering to values, coping with pressure, following instructions, researching, adapting to change, and applying expertise. When you adhere to values you have a certain respect for people and how they feel and how they think value their opinion. When coping with pressure I try to overcome the urge to give up. I believe I cope with pressure quite well in sticky situations. I follow instructions very well in my opinion I think instructions are there to help you along that is why people write them to help you out.
Ex7 B. The purpose of a personal development plan (pdp) is to improve and develop your practice by thinking about what you are doing. A pdp is beneficial to me because becoming a reflective practitioner means thinking not only about my actions but also about the people I support. Whilst learning to reflect I will understand people better because of learning to take the time, considering why people act in a certain way. Spending time getting to know the people I support will in turn help me provide a better service.
The less experienced staff requires direction and supervision because they are still relatively inexperienced. To make sure productive day every day, I need to set priorities, goals, and deadlines; delegate tasks appropriately; and use time to focus on solutions. Self-Management section taught me that the leaders have such abilities as managing their emotions, holding themselves personally accountable for what they say and do. I would focus on solutions rather than blaming people on problems. A good leader would pay attention on your people's skills, talents, passion; also need to motivate his people in different ways to keep higher work quality.
