Students don’t understand how much work it takes to earn money and so they keep on spending money. When they start earning money they will understand how to use and spend it. Since students are getting paid for doing good at school they will want to get better marks. They will know that if they get an A on their test they will get paid and if they get a D on their test they will not get paid. This will persuade the students to do better in school.
Homework is a necessary component of every successful student's education. By doing homework, a student will learn independent thought, perform better in school, and provide a greater chance for economic success in their post education lives. But on the other hand, sometimes teachers tend to give off too much homework which becomes very stressful. Stress due to homework can cause many things including: lack of sleep, slipping grades, fatigue, unhealthy eating habits, depression, and many more other factors. A teen should not have to face depression at such a young age.
Children Should get Paid for Good Grades. Discuss In this essay I’m going to discuss whether or not children should be paid for good grades. This is a debatable topic with advantages, as well as disadvantages. Paying children to get good grades is very motivational for them since they feel as if they have something to look forward to if they work hard and get good grades. They will start to take a positive angle at being clever as there are more rewards when good is done, than bad.
Public school allows more interaction and socializing with other children, while home schooling concentrates on the how child progresses educationally, as the needs of the child are met. It is the goal of the parent home schooling to see their child succeed. Many parents would want to home school the child because of a hundred percent involvement in the child’s education, this is a major decision for any parent, but I know most parents wants to know how much their child is progressing on a daily basis, what are they learning and knowing they are a part of their child’s education. Most parents think it might be expensive to home school but it is not, most learning material can easily be found online for free. There is a famous quote by John F. Kennedy “The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth.” As a parent, people around us might view home schooling as better especially those that home schooled as a child growing up.
Mohanad R. Mohsen WG4a Alisha 8/14/ 2013 E1D1 Cash for good grades Motivation is the power that pushing us to do things we have to do, things that we know very well they required to achieve our goals. And only students who stay motivated about their study make success. But the secret here is find the good reasons behind this motivation, and the paying for the students for good grades seem like sending the wrong messages to make them doing well for the wrong reasons and this causes future negative effects. Responsibility doesn’t always come with rewards like people don’t get money for keep their houses clean or for eating healthy meals. If we paid for students when they get good grads may be this habit will stick with them for life.
Second, it will offer motivation to my kids. Not only will the degree provide me with a better position to take part in my children’s classrooms assignments at school, I will similarly be helpful in the life choices they will want to pursue being a role model for them. Attempting to get a college education after marriage with children may also be challenging and may require me to put off those decisions to raise a family. However, currently with the enormously fast progress in technology, attaining an education will be made considerably easy. Patty Murray noted "A good education means learning to read, write and most importantly learn how to learn so that you can be whatever you want to be when you grow up”(Vavrus, 2002).
We would be able to afford things that we don’t have presently and maybe improve the learning tools that we do have. By having more bins available to the students of each school we would have a better chance of earning more money for the schools. The elementary school collected a lot of Box Tops that I then cut up and sorted for organizational purposes and by separating them it is easier to count how many Box
This helps to keep kids from teasing students who parents cannot afford to buy the high price clothes. According to Anderson, “when students dress alike, “team-like” culture develops, and this promotes school spirit and positive self-images” (66). The wearing of uniforms also helps students to focus because it removes the fashion trends and competition distractions. “Students who wear uniforms can focus on academics, rather than on what others are wearing” (Walmsley 66). Secondly, uniforms save time and money.
Payment and other factors vary from school to school, but overall there has been an increase in good grades and behavior (http://www.greatschools.org). More schools should adopt Cash for Grades programs because it motivates kids to try harder in school and get better grades. One of the most important aspects of the program is that it compels students to try their hardest. According to Roland Fryer Jr. there are many ways to motivate students you just have to find what matters to them. Roland states that one of the biggest motivators is competition.
One of the main reasons I have chosen to ho back t school is my family and their well-being. I feel like if I go to school and get an education then I can take care of them the way I need to take care of them. I feel like going back to school will have many good advantages as well as some disadvantages . Some good things is that I will be furthering my education and in the world we live in it’s almost required. Another advantage is that many more job opportunities will come and I will have a better selection then I do now.
