How Physical Activity Affects Society

It is known that physical activity gives benefits to physical and physiological to the body, but when you leave school students never think about how they are going to fit in physical activity into there schedule until it comes time to do it, but people don’t think about the consequences of not doing physical activity, what I will be talking about is the negatives and positives of student drop off of physical activity when finishing school. A negative of drop off of physical activity after leaving school is that the prices of gyms range between $50-$99 for a joining fee but the weekly charges range between $9.99-$23.99, after leaving school you have priorities to pay for such as university fees, school equipment, gas, rent ect and they may not have a spare $9.99-$23.99 a week to spend on a gym member ship, this has an impact on the NZ society because the more people that have priorities that does not include physical activity the rate of heart disease and obesity increases, this then for new Zealand as a society this then raises the overall percent of obesity and puts new Zealand higher up on the rankings, this then gives new Zealand a bad reputation. For example, if I were looking to go to another country I and I wanted to go somewhere for the different culture, with a high rate of obesity this then makes me think of fast food, not enough physical activity so that automatically makes me think that it is similar to countries such as America ect also because of the obesity aspect this makes me think of not enough physical activity so I would then get the impression that there is very limited amount of activities for me to do. This issue is happening because gym prices are to high for the average high school student, this is also happening because gyms make you pay for the first six months even if you don’t go, but after six months you are allowed to cancel your
