Title: Free post-secondary education (Argument Essay) English 151 Professor Jasmine North May 24, 2013 In recent years, it is commonplace for teenagers to accept post-secondary education in Canada. It is because we all know that education is very vital. And, times have changed. So, if someone just only graduated from secondary school is far more no enough to face a lot of different job demand in future. However, the cost of post-secondary education is a major barrier to young people. Large debts have become common-place for graduates, putting barriers up where, instead, encouragement should be provided. Education is the key to the long-term health and prosperity of Canada. Study after study has shown that education increases opportunities for individuals, improves all of our lives and leads to an improved overall economic strength of our country. Taking into consideration from an aspect of the importance of accepting post-secondary education, I hold the view that free post-secondary education should been provided by the government. Firstly, education increases job opportunities for individuals. Poverty, homelessness, unemployment; these are some of the worst aspects that plague our society. How can we combat these problems? One possibility is through the increased education of our youth. Nowadays, we have a lot of various school to choose, not only universities, but also vocational schools, trade schools, and career colleges. Those of these provide various of useful courses, such as Applied Science, Business Administration, Design, Engineering, Information Technology and Languages. Once if you find what courses you feel interested in it, and you get into that faculty. They will teach something particularly for your course.
