Somewhere with no television unless that is what the music is playing on. It would be somewhere with a large amount of coffee and where no one can bother me. 2. List some of the distractions that might hinder your study progress or your performance in an online classroom. Some of the distractions that might hinder my study progress or my performance in an online classroom are loud children, loud music, loud people, television playing an interesting movie or show, people bothering me, stress, financial concerns, not understanding what I’m studying or learning, death of a family member or close friend, illness or injury, change in marital status, family difficulties, and conflicts with instructors or classmates. 3. What actions can you take to manage and eliminate distractions? The actions I can take to manage and eliminate distractions are for loud children and people bothering me I can lock the door. For the television I can always turn it off. For the stress I can try to lower my stress. For the financial concerns I can try to put them into the back of my mind until later. For not understanding what I’m studying or learning I could always ask for help so I can understand it. For the death of a family member or close friend, I could try not to think about it till I have accomplished what I need to. For an illness or injury I could get it taken care of. If it’s a injury that’s hurting while I’m studying or in the classroom I could always take something to help with the pain so I can concentrate. For a change in my marital status, I would look at it as a chance to improve myself and concentrate and finish school without having to worry about someone else. For family
