Things have really been looking up for me in many different ways; I was offered a part time job at the school itself as a student-employee. Feelings My first week back at school has been arduous, but very good and cultivating. I was very eager to begin school and my new job and also to meet my classmates once more. It was somewhat disappointing for me when school did not reopen as scheduled. Sociology is an intriguing subject; learning how people interact in a group opposed to when they are by themselves really opened my eyes to the reality of daily living.
Graduation Project Box Tops By: Alicia Stoner You can find Box Tops on hundreds of products. These labels can be used to help your school. I picked cutting out box tops for the elementary school for my graduation project. I believe that by collecting enough of them we could raise a lot of money for our school district as a whole. We would be able to afford things that we don’t have presently and maybe improve the learning tools that we do have.
Safety at CSUN Dear Officer Vanscoy, Imagine a student who carries an expensive laptop to school everyday. One particular week she has numerous tests and essays to complete. Instead of heading home after a long day of Friday classes, she heads to the dining hall and has a meal and does some work for a couple of hours. On the way to her car later that night, that expensive laptop catches the eye of a young gentleman, who continues to follow her to her car. Unfortunately this situation was a true scenario, but luckily, it didn’t go further than the student feeling very uncomfortable.
I have added more fresh fruits and vegetables to my family’s meals and snacks. There was also a time during this nine weeks that I learned just how inactive I truly am. Since we assessed our physical activity on the MyPyramid site, I have also added more physical activities into my day so that the energy I am creating with the diet changes is burnt off by the end of the day. Burning this energy off in a more active way is assisting me in my goal of losing weight. The assignment that affected me the most and that I enjoyed most was the activity that required us to track our food intake for 3 days.
well I will tell you in right here in this paragraph. A proper time for students to use there phones you would think would be at lunch or either during passing periods. During lunch we have forty five minutes of social time why not make that with cell phones as well. I know plenty of students probably do it anyways when we are not supposed to, and to be honest I am one of those as well. When we are eating no teachers are around us giving us more lessons.
On-campus classes make it easier to communicate one-on-one with your teacher. If you need any help or just have a question, you can speak to your teacher during class and/or speak to a student in your class. Any assignments that you get can be completed in class, on-campus, or at home, then turned in to the teacher. The books needed for your classes are owned by you, so you can make notes and highlight the text in the book if you need. It is harder to procrastinate while taking classes on-campus because you begin the homework in class (most times) and have the teacher to notice if you did or did not submit your assignments.
You could also have time to finish your homework if you couldn’t the night before. This year on Wednesday, October 12 we took our PSAT’s and the seniors didn’t have to be at school until 11:30 in the morning because they didn’t have to take them. Instead they had to take the SAT’s but I don’t know the exact dates they would take them. I expected not to see any seniors in my classes that I have seniors in. But I was shocked to see all of them actually show up.
I believe they can make deals with the school and advertise it on the schools textbooks, tablets, and the bags they give for students to carry multiple books. Also in the lunchroom, and student center with posters. The tutoring center would also be a great place to display the product. They can also give out free products and have a person set up a small display at the school to give out the free products, and tell them a little about it. 5.
I think that this price is reasonable for the students to pay for a meal deal products at subway which include any sub of their given choice with a drink and a snack. R3: Promotion – any promotion techniques they could use that would be popular with students? I think the meal deal will be most helpful and will attract the students and staff as they will see that they are paying a reasonable price for it. I would also use loyalty cards as well this way the business will get more staffs and students to come to the business and buy their products. R4:
Running Head: TECHNOLOGY ETHICS IN THE CLASSROOM Technology Ethics in the Classroom Rodney Mooney Grand Canyon University: EDU 225 Educational Technology The advancements of technology in the classroom call for both teachers and students to have a good understanding of the positives and negatives that come with technology in classrooms. Through technology, students can learn how to utilize computers and the internet in a productive and proper fashion. With nearly every home and classroom being equipped with computers, it is crucial that both parents and teachers have an understanding for technology and take the time to monitor children when they use this technology. Computer and Internet technology is very helpful and can be very educational if used properly, but they can also become a negative impact on individuals that misuse these helpful tools. Technology is a new tool in education that consistently changes and offers new opportunities for teacher and learning (Akcay 2008).
