As I entered Cucumber Café with my girlfriend on a Wednesday night around 7pm, I was greeted by a warm smile and was seated instantly. Sitting down on the bench like sofa chairs were pretty comfortable with back support and the tables were pretty neat. The restaurant was dimly lit, which created a romantic atmosphere for my girlfriend and I. I couldn’t help by wink at her like I totally planned this romantic date. Our hostess, Jenny came and greeted us with another smile and gave us menu boards and asked if we wanted something to drink. I asked her what is there to drink, surprisingly she told me all these alcohol beverages like vodka, baileys etc etc. I told her I was 17 and she said that I looked 18, meaning I was old enough to order, which also in a bad case means they don’t I.D younger kids. I ordered a pasta chicken linguine for around 12 dollars and my girlfriend ordered the original chicken dinner for around 10 dollars. As we waited for our food, I noticed as a lot of people came in, and they weren't typically all teenagers. Cucumber Café attracts an older group of customers that can obviously afford expensive meals by the way that they dress. The food came pretty fast in less than 6 minutes, probably because we came in before the rush of customers swarmed in. The first thing I noticed about the food when it arrived was: the quantity of the food. The plates were very big and our hostess gave it to us in shaking hands because. My pasta had 6 pieces of small chicken with some pasta, however it looked pretty appetizing. The chicken dinner had a small piece of chicken, a big scoop of mash potatoes, 2 big brocolis and a bak choy. I remembered how Ms. Kam told me that you are trying to sell the chicken, so the chicken size should be the largest but, ironically, it was not. And the 2 big brocolis made me feel like it was to make the plate look bigger. The bok choy
