There are many competing factions in today’s society, however only one set of competing factions will be discussed in this composition. Examples of competing factions would be the following: pro-life, pro-choice, pro-abortion, politicians, lobbyists, unions, etc. These factions all have negative aspects, but also have positive aspects, so they could go either way. The competing factions in today’s society effect the government, surroundings, and civilians in everyday life procedures and decisions. Though factions take a major toll on decisions and actions of people through the issues, sometimes those actions pursued are not the most helpful or productive, but rather negative and destructive. Today, one example of competing factions is pro-life vs. pro-abortion. From a Christian standpoint, pro-life is the correct decision, but unfortunately pro-abortion is often chosen over the morally correct decision, by that I mean they kill the baby instead of giving it up for adoption or another alternative rather than death. The pro-life agenda exemplifies the right of the child and they do all that they can to protect that baby from a not so wonderful fate; the baby can feel pain by the time many wait to enter the abortion process. In which, this means that the baby does not die instantly, but dies with pain and suffering. Through these examples the pro-life organizations work to convince the parent/parents that there are other alternatives besides death being the chosen way out for the parent/parents. However, there are groups that work against the pro-life movement, which are the pro-abortion groups. These groups have the agenda of the parent/parents’ needs, concerns, and claim to have the best interest at heart. They try to throw the negative possibilities that the baby could enter and suffer through life. However, when pro-abortion is chosen the parents act as if they
