In our group 1, most of us were involved from the start of the assignment. As a group we shared ideas back and forth and respected each other’s opinions and ideas. Sarah T and Sarah E set times that the group was to respond to questions by. By having deadlines set like this, it made everyone accountable and able to have their information or opinion written up in the wiki so we were able to move onto the next stage in a timely manner.
We made A3 Plans of mind maps and all contributed different ideas of how to make the day memorable and effective for those who participated. The team objectives/goals: * Everyone to contribute a slide for the slideshow presentation * Everyone create at least one team work activity for every group * Set an affordable budget we could all agree on * Listen to everyone * Work out solutions as a team * Stay on track and organised By creating these objectives we were able to enforce and encourage each other on doing the best we can and helping each member make a difference also feel that they are contributing a substantial amount of ideas that were being considered or used in the outcome of the event. I feel that we could have on the day been more organised and relaxed and not have panicked when we felt that something wasn’t working. For instance, we had a problem with the sound on our video when we connected it to the overhead projector, some members of the team panicked and lost all

The Piece it together activity cemented our collaboration commitment and was a great way to get us all together. We had all key components in place such as agreeing to keep collaboration on the wiki rather than using other platforms, getting to know each other, listening and finally a willingness to share all aspects of the assessment. Group 1 was successful through every aspect of the assessment. Using the wiki to do all of our brainstorming, setting goals as well as discussing all relevant details of our assessment is what led our group to success.
I learned the best days of the week (Saturdays) and times of the year to have a sale and how to be courteous to your neighbors. The essay written with a positive tone and I would say it’s closest to reportage-style writing. The writer covers everything on the topic. I felt the purpose of this paper was to inform the reader about all the positive and beneficial aspects of having a sale. It’s definitely helpful and instructional for those who have never done a garage/yard sale before.
