On March 28, 2014 I was travelling across Singapore in the Transitlink MRT. It was approximately 1530 hours and there was not much of a crowd considering that it was off peak hours. I was standing at the non-seated compartment in the train which provides a large standing area for passengers. As the train stopped at a station, several passengers boarded. A child of approximately 8 to 10 years old ran into the compartment, followed by his younger sister and a guardian of foreign nationality. The boy stood at about 130 cm with skinny limbs and a rather cheeky face. Like many boys of his age he had straight black hair, shaved from the back but had a bit of length for a fringe above the eyebrows. He was dressed casually in a Batman themed set of t-shirt and shorts, matched with a pair of Justice League flip flops. Bespectacled, he occasionally pushed his spectacles to the back as a habit of adjustment. The boy had his concession card hung around his neck like most of the kids travelling on public transports. As the boy ran into the train compartment, he jumped around and left himself to dangle using the handles made for standing passengers. Swinging around, he forwards himself across the train similar to the monkey bar in a playground. As his sister lacks the strength to imitate his play, he laughed and threw a few sarcastic remarks at her. However, the boy proceeds to guide his sister and supported her as she attempts to hold on to the handles again. He mentored his sister in a strict yet dependable manner of an older brother. Feeling proud of his skills he made a few demonstrations for his sister to follow. While he was enjoying himself taking the train as an impromptu playground, an elderly woman approached.
