If they are to succeed more they must staff their stores with productive, skilled, and knowledgeable employees. Therefore, a KSAO would be perfect to staff the locations accordingly. If the company needed to staff for the retail stores then would benefit from using a KSAO to help select candidates who are appropriate for that position. To work in the retail location the employees should be knowledgeable on the goods sold, have great customer service skills, and have the ability to sell the product exceptionally well.
I feel it is important for me to continually improve my knowledge to ensure that I am aware of, and follow all the current health and social care standards, legislation, and guidelines for good practice as well as ensuring I follow my company’s policies and procedures. I also feel it is vital that I pass any new knowledge I gain on to my team because this provides them with up to date information in order for them to carry out their roles as support workers effectively. I will do this during in a team meeting, supported housing meeting and also by email then the staff can always reflect back on information that has been sent to them. For me learning is a way of gaining new skills and it enables me to progress, and achieve within my career and working practices as a team leader, support worker & counsellor. I will be in charge of hiring the crews and training them in the correct techniques so that everything is done universally the same way throughout the company. I will also take a hands on approach with both obtaining new customers and being on site, depending on the day and situation. Another large job of mine will be the setting up and handling of accounts, whether they be commercial or residential, therefore you could consider me the Customer Relations department. Troy and Matt are two people who I trust with their business sense and their qualities as people, furthermore I feel that they are two people who will be dedicated to making Wollenberg Landscaping the best that it can be.
