Career Changing is the most common factors in today’s economy. Sometimes changing a career can cause you to get a higher education. Sometimes we lose our job so we have to change our career to satisfy our needs. In the economy world, sometimes our boss or co-workers can make you uncomfortable so we feel uninterested on the job. Portfolios have long been used in some professions to showcase professional work and skills. In education, portfolios have also been used for assessment, including self-assessment (Lankes 1995; Pond et al. 1998). We as people have to work through our trials and tribulations to get to a higher position on the job. Most people would make you want to get your life right with your master. We can think about many things such as getting the higher education. In South Dakota they start to help the school system with life planning for students in grades 9th thru 12th. It provides information on statewide initiatives and programs, resources, and tools. It is one of best practices and model programs. All the programs are the concept of integrating academic, vocational technical, and employability competencies so that students achieve both academic and occupational skills. The Career and Life Planning Portfolio is a collection of work that documents a student's skills, abilities, and ambitions (Division of Workforce and Career Preparation 1999; "DWCP Wins National Award" 2000). Higher education can be the most important key to changing a career. We can sit down and think about many things as in changing the career, but we have to make sure it’s the right decision to make.
