Parents are beginning to become more concerned about whether or not these types of games might cause their children to become aggressive. Violence in video games makes children more aggressive and hostile; in addition, “video game violence makes children desensitized to violence, which can lead to violence at school and home” (Barnes 1). Games that are packed with violence shouldn’t be introduced at all to young children. Children do not completely understand the difference between fantasy land and real life. Children who are older may be able to understand the difference between fantasy and reality a little better, therefore older children should be able to play games at a parents discretion.
Should violent video game be sold to kids under 18,I said no. why did those video game got into the child's hand, because who ever sold the video game didnt care about what will happen to the kids, all they care is money! She also admits that one of the problems with video games is that there is no standard for rating video games, so any content that is profitable is acceptable. One thing that she states is that the violence in video games has been linked to violence in the lives of the viewers, and that people who play video games naturally have a more aggressive personality. Though TV has also been known to show violence, Wrights says that video games are worse because they’re interactive. She also asserts that though people may like to deny the negative effects of video games, they cannot deny that the media is a manipulative tool that is used to trigger emotions. Wright’s closing statement is a warning to parents; she says that they need to educate themselves to keep their children safe.
That however has been proven untrue. Some parents are simply looking for reasons to medicate their children so that they do not have to parent them. This is when it becomes increasingly important to make sure that they child in question fits the criteria for what is needed for an AD/HD diagnosis. Contrary to what many believe poor parenting is not a cause of AD/HD. In addition to that playing video games, too much sugar, fast past lifestyle and lack of self control are also invalid causes of AD/HD.
They say the games became to life like for the boys to handle which lead to the homicidal thoughts and in the long run the massacre itself. I feel that no matter how depressed, involved, or drawn into a game one is that it justifies an excuse to not maintain reality. Just because you are able to unleash anger in a video game or take out pent up aggression in a video game does not make hurting or killing a person ok. If you can’t handle playing the game, then don’t play. These influences and or warning signs should have been taken far more seriously I feel then they were.

I agree with Jeffers that the problem is a person's lack of self control and also that people are playing too much.
This can cause children to bully them for it. This would leave the child feeling very hurt, embarrassed and he will lose his confidence and self-esteem. This will then effect his physical, social and emotional development.
