Love is an emotion of strong and sincere affection. It is a virtue of all living beings' compassion and benevolent concern for each other or even oneself. The feeling of love can be brought about in various ways. In this essay, I will reason whether or not money is a justifiable mean of acquiring or fortifying love. Money is a mean of direct exchanges of all sorts. But, indirectly, money is also the source of many a feeling. Happiness, health, satisfaction and, in some cases, love. Today, many people express their love to another by buying them a gift. Sometimes, when people receive these gifts, they start to develop an affection towards the giver of the gift. Since money was required to buy this gift, money indirectly buys love. Some people are born with or have developed a romantic or sexual attraction towards the same gender. Since the majority of society are heterosexuals, finding love could be an intimidating endeavor for homosexuals. This is why societies around the world have set up homosexual communities. These communities celebrate the pride and individuality of homosexuals and allow them to be open about their sexual and romantic yearnings. They also repel homophobic attitudes, heterosexism and conformist pressures, and provide the opportunity for homosexuals to possibly find love. Since these communities require a paid registration, money, in this case, is indirectly allowing these people to find love. The love between a mother and son is that of ardent compassion and affection. Sometimes, women are unable to conceive or maintain the fetus of her child. This can be quite a heartbreaking plight. But these women can still have a child. Adoption agencies allow children without parents or guardians to be willingly taken to a family who will raise them. Since these adoptions are paid for, money again indirectly buys love. However, money never guarantees
