The Four Horsemen weren't big, but they all had speed, agility, and strength.
They also didn't have the pad quality like there is today, the NFL in the 50's didn't even have shoulder pads for their players. Football was just one of the many pasttime for Americans. The College Football Era Notre Dame started out the 50's as the nation's #1 riding a 38 game win streak, but by the end of the college football season the unbeaten Oklahoma Sooners
The Dolphins would not win their 1st game until October 16th against the Denver Broncos the highlight of the 24-7 victory was 24-7 QB George Wilson, Jr's screen pass to Billy Joe, which turned into a 67-yard TD. My sophomore year my team went 12-0(undefeated) we won the thing.
