Many people wonder if their gender determines how successful they will become in their career. Does gender bias still exists in the workplace today? Does sexism exists?
In most cases, expectant mothers should not be given paid maternity leave for the duration of their pregnancy to promote healthy development. The government is the one's who pay the expectant mothers for when they take maternity leave once the baby is born, therefore the government should not have to pay for mothers during their pregnancy. If the expectant mothers are working and can live with their work pay, why would they need to be paid extra for the simple reason that they are pregnant? They do not need the extra money. In some cases however, if the expectant mother is very sick during the pregnancy, it is understandable to be paid during her pregnancy so she can pay for the medication to help with morning sickness.

Those employers work overtime but did not get the pay that they deserve. Instead, employers who came late to work will not be tolerated. This has caused many employers to get stressed out, leading to suicide attempts. The reason may be because the labor costs in foreign countries are cheap compared to United States. However, I think it is wrong to take advantage of those employers’ lives by not providing those employers fairly.

Career driven women also face difficulties raising children because they do not get enough time for their children. I agree with Noer because working women are likely to have less time to manage all the household duties than non-working women, who tends to have more time to focus on family.
