I had always looked forward to an airsoft gun. I had asked my dad if I could have one. He replied with a yes but he also said that he would get it in the summer. I realized that it was a reasonable agreement. I waited until summer came. That long wait had felt like years. And those years felt like decades. With the long wait I hoped to be able to get a nice airsoft gun like my friend. Once my father had told me that I was able to buy an airsoft gun I was delighted. The first thing I did was to tell my friends that I will be able to buy an airsoft gun. When I told my friend this exuberant news, we were in great delight. Because he had many airsoft guns already, he knew a lot about the safety and law requirements for the airsoft gun. During that time we decided that when I got my airsoft gun we would be able to play with it in his large wooded property that his dad owned. Later on with my wait, I got my attention off of the gun. I got all of my attention on playing tennis. When I played tennis I felt like I was in a different world. I felt like I was playing for the gold in the Olympics. Every time I went to the escape zone, there is always one thing that brought me out of it. That one thing was my dad. There was one day that really brought me out of my escape zone that really brought an impact on me. I felt like hell when he kept on criticizing me and telling me that I always had “complained” about my opponents and about my partner. The reason that it impacted me was that I knew it in myself that I had not criticized about any opponent. The only reason that I would talk about an opponent was when they did not have the proper attitude that is respected on the tennis court. But furthermore into that night, I asked my father to apologize. You may think that he did. But in reality, he did not. I knew that he would not apologize to me. Because of my long experience with
