East London families would travel to Pitsea for a weekend and go home as property owners. Many moved down as their houses were destroyed during the war. In 1925 a local designed mock Tudor buildings; he wanted to imitate a ‘model village’ for families with dreams of a better life. However these plans were interrupted by WW2 and only a few of these
I remember when I first arrived to United States it was very special and unique day for my family and me. December 4th, 2006 stays in my good memory forever. Everything that night seemed very different and exciting for me. My family members were very tired coming from the airport, but excited to get in our new home and see different things and places around. All the people and workers in the Los Angeles airport were super nice and friendly while they were serving us; folks who worked there were smiling and welcoming us.
During the drive to our first stop I saw many beautiful sites; mountains, lakes, rivers, forests... the nature was truly amazing! We even saw black tail deer and elk roaming right along side of the road. Our first stop was the city of Aberdeen but we only visited Gray's Harbor for an hour to stretch our legs and see if we could spot any gray whales but we didn't see any. Our next stop was beautiful Ruby Beach in the town of Kalaloch. You have to walk a trail through the forest to get to the beach and we enjoyed it so much!
Unexpectedly, one day fourteen years later, Allie came across an article in the paper about Noah rebuilding an old plantation house that he loved since he was a child. He and Allie spent many nights together in that old house. She found herself speechless and shaky. She read the article over and over again, thinking this must be a dream. Consequently, after three weeks of distraction and utter disbelief of stumbling across Noah in the paper, she decided that she needed to go and see him one more time.
In my opinion, it is the most beautiful time of the year. Because when you are sitting in a car on your way to your destination you open the car windows and can actually feel that the world is clean and ready for a new life. The green grass is so fresh that when you inhale you can scent it in your lungs. You close your eyes, take a deep breath and all the sudden you hear the spring birds chirping. You also hear the trees rustling with the cool breeze which
Sam said that he was not ready to go home yet and his father said he could stay for a few more months. One month later his family came back and got him. They stayed in the Catskill Mountains to live. This story of survival taught me that kids could live in the wild, but it would be tough. I liked the book because it taught me some survival tips.
On Monday, october 25,th I went to a state park after I finished work. Since I had endured so much stress from my job, it was a great opportunity for me to go to the park and relax, to be able to look at the world and forget about everything. The weather was beautiful and the sun was shining. There was an especially nice breeze that made the trees move and leaves fall. I had noticed that the sky was extremely clear and the birds seemed happy about the weather because they were flying every where and going from tree to tree.

Michael Barbuto College Writing October 2, 2013 Professor Eaton Descriptive Essay Last year playing high school football was probably one of the most entertaining and exciting things I have ever done in my entire life. The reasoning behind this is that we had an outstanding team which sent eighteen kids off to play college football. Therefore, eighteen out of twenty one people were sent off to play college football, which is pretty good in my eyes. When experiencing high school football, it is all about brotherhood and family throughout the whole entire team. This year playing football for Springfield is not the same as last year in high school because I’m not as close with the people on my college team.
The look on his face is one I will never forget, the look of pure confusion mixed with some of the strongest emotions of happiness and joy I had seen in a while emanated from his face. His name was David and he had just arrived about a week ago to my crazy family and after a weekend of summer partying was ready to see the rest of town with his new brother. As we entered the realm of skiing in America his mind was blown. You could easily say it came as a bit of a culture shock to him. However living with him for a full year made me see how much the culture of skiing has impacted my life.
