An employee's perception is everything, even if it may be incorrect. Another way that employee relations can be improved is to have the confidence of your employed staff. Having managers / supervisors that employees feel " have their backs", listen to what they have to say, pass along their fears, concerns, and ideas to the powers that be, and remain creditable, mean the world to employee. These managers / supervisors are an asset to any company. To an employee, the manager / supervisor is the company.

Setting goals can have an impact on workplace productivity in a positive and a negative way. Rewards that are given for quality performance helps an individual be able to assess themselves, helping them be able to have job satisfaction along with personal growth.
Just like the employees at Air Devils Inc needed interventions implemented to help with stress reduction, interventions are vital for organizations. The employees at Air Devils Inc can definitely benefit from training in effective conflict resolution techniques because the simulation outlined the way employees were struggling with effectively interacting with one another. They can also benefit from interventions that can help to modify the team structure. Implementing flexible work schedules can also decrease stress in the workplace and contribute to improving organizational performance. To help employees handle the conflict and stress of the work schedule many organizations have adopted guidelines that allow alternate shifts and schedules (Jex & Britt, 2008).
With Citigroup’s organizational culture it has guided employees toward the behaviors and attitudes that have put the company at risk. The company must revert to what is important that is the customers and focus on the core values of the organizations, and the vision of the organization. To change Citigroup’s organizational culture there needs to be a shared responsibility among the leaders of the company, managers, and employees. By having a shared responsibility will make Citigroup’s organizational culture more effective and productive. Having shared responsibility will allow each employee to achieve or accomplish his or her full potential, and acting with the greatest level integrity when dealing with one another, and customers.

It is most important to know the basic theory application and methods for dealing with any problems that may arise amongst employees. Managers and those looking to become managers must acquire the skill it takes to motivate people and to stay motivated as well. This skill will ensure that staff is productive and efficient. Motivating staff is no easy task for managers.
