The last time he pulled a trick in class he got kicked out and sent back to the cave where all the monkeys were; but anyway it’s good to have a brave leader. Another reason is that he is very generous. Usually his risky actions are for his monkey people to be safe. Like he went to Master Subhodi to learn how to be immortal, but he also did it for his monkeys to also live forever. Because if you could live forever you would want some friends with you, right?
His theories on attachment and on maternal deprivation have been some of the most influential writings on the topic. Bowlby worked for many years as a child psychoanalyst so was clearly very influenced by Freud’s theories and child development. However, he also liked the work of Lorenz on the innate nature of bonds through imprinting and combined these two very different ideas to produce his own evolutionary theory of attachments. Bowlby believed that attachment is innate and adaptive. We are all born with an inherited need to form attachments and this is to help us survive.
In the movie, Ricky Bobby (a racecar driver) has two very unruly children. In one scene they are eating dinner and having a conversation with their grandfather. When the grandfather says something that the kids don’t want to hear, they say “Shut up Chip, or we’ll jump on you like a spider monkey!” After I heard this line, I wanted to know exactly how spider monkeys jumped. While researching the animal’s behavior I discovered that they were endangered. One threat to the spider monkeys is their slow reproductive rate.

The book Chimpanzee Politics is a book based on thousands of hours of observations of a chimpanzee colony in the Arnhem Zoo in the Netherlands where a doctor named Frans De Wall studied them. The story is all about obtaining power through different ways and the means in which the chimpanzees attempt to keep it. They use alliances and they have enemies, and will almost always do anything that is necessary to keep what they love. In this essay I will discuss the roles that power plays on influencing the actions, responses, and lifestyles that the chimpanzees express in their controlled environment they call home. In Chimpanzee Politics, the alpha males will often form alliances with other males and females that play influential roles in the colony of chimpanzees.
Dr Sue Savage – Rumbaugh is a researcher who strongly believes in the ability of primates to use language. This created fear because he could have caught Ebola before he knew it and nobody knew for sure if it was airborne. ESCAPED MONKEY- An Ebola-infected monkey escaped from its cage and possibly the room. The book talked about how they didn’t exactly know where the monkey ran to or who it would attack. If it were to attack someone, it could cause an outbreak in the United States. Richard Preston also went into detail about Rhonda’s dream of the monkey injecting her with its blood.
These monkey slowly began dying and the owner of the monkeys called in a specialist who tested the monkeys. Coming up with inconclusive data, the specialist called on people from USAMRIID to also test the monkeys. USAMRIID found that the monkeys had Marburg and took the steps to contain and destroy the outbreak. My personal opinion of this book, that it was grotesquely impressive. The Marburg virus itself is almost like a disease from some sci-fi flick I have seen.
Many stories in time have similar character types. In“The Monkey’s Paw” and “The Third Wish,” the stories have two characters that have some similarities as well as differences in the stories. In “The Monkey’s Paw,” Mr. White and his family receive a magical monkey’s paw from a friend. The paw grants three wishes, but wishers need to be wary of the consequences. Mr. White’s wish goes awry, accidentally killing his son.
The consequence of what will happen while wishes are made with “The Monkey’s Paw” at first is unknown. The family does not realize that wishing with the paw, is another test of what they were warned of from the beginning. The simian face that Mr. White see’s in the fire is an example of foreshadowing. In the story Mr. White says he saw the monkeys face in the dying fire. Also were spell is to represent the paw being evil.
