Dreams Never Die What I have learned about non fition writing is that it gives you the truth and opinions instead of making something up to write a good book. I think non fiction is better because it benefits the reader better when writing a paper instead of having to search within the text for a meaning thats not really there. I've learned that in non fiction writing you get a brief look inside the life and thought process of the writer and how they deal with the obstacles they face. Throughout the course of the book SLAVE by Mende Nazer, you experience a variety of literaray techniques. Nazer expresses Flashbacks, Imagery, and a strong voice in this heartfelt novel of her life and her journey of becomming and overcoming life as a slave.
It just seems to unethical to me even though I can see how they would be useful. This novel made me think about many aspects of human life. Not only did I ponder how we as a people treat each other and people that are different than us, but I pondered our future and how realistic this novel’s plot can be. I am incredibly glad that I decided to read this book again because I missed out on so much the first time I read
The experience they had to face enables them to be ready for their future. Without challenges, life would become easy and we cannot find out our best capacity. Facing challenges gives us the experience to deal and conquer problems in future. The examples which demonstrate the positive aspect of hardship can be found at the last few chapters of the novel when the characters have gone through challenges in their life. Hardship can give us experience on how to deal with
I mean that sometimes I like to make claims without backing them up. This class has helped me to really investigate my claims so I can project them with confidence and greater persuasive power. Without writing an actual paper, it is good to have facts to back up personal claims. This gives the person great ethos. All in all, I know that this class will help me in my career in the long run because it has showed me what the power of language can do.
How To Avoid Falling In love With A Jerk by John Van Epp, PhD, is a very useful book and can be used toward not making the mistakes that we keep making over and over again when it comes down to us choosing a love partner. This book gives great examples of different scenario’s and warns us of red flags and warning signs that we should pay attention to. I like a lot of things about this book. The thing that I like most is that the book provides information for us about how to behave toward our possible partners. If you would apply the suggestions and tips from this book, it’s possible that you will be a better partner and you would save yourself from more disappointment.
This is because of the fact that the authors are learning how important it is to make the topics they write about relatable. They write novels that shine a new light on the modern day world using fantasy while incorporating reality at the same time so that the novel is relevant to the reader. Anthem Brave New
However, both characters’ temperament is rather similar in some ways both being somewhat craven without being hardly virile. Both stories have their pros and cons like everything else, yet they both center around the effect technology can have on the real, outside world. I personally felt that Bradbury’s story was more interesting than Skurzynski’s story. I found his concept that the slightest thing in the past might tremendously change the future causing a chain-reaction that, in the book, can be a ghastly one to be an intriguing idea. This story left me interested in Bradbury’s concept and wishing that the story had gone on longer.
Peer reviews were difficult for me, because I do not think of myself as a very critical person, but the course overall was very helpful. The first, and my personal favorite would be the explanatory essay. I enjoy reading, and I liked the fact that I could reflect on the book as a whole, giving my thoughts on the events as they were unfolding. The more I wrote, the more defined my opinions became, and the more confident my writing grew. Where I stated, “I believe this novel was Bronte’s life work, masterpiece, and what she felt about this world in general,” is a prime example of my explanation of the novel.
With much imagery. Its not to tell a story, but allow a story to be created. I love to keep the plot interesting, and leave them wanting new situations to pop up in each and every crack in the books. The style is complex yet loose at thesametime. It is not only my critisism, but at the same time, your very own.
I really enjoyed the book Freakonomics. To me it was a kind of what if sort of story. By what if I am referring to the other side of situations that people do not explore. The authors of the book probably took in some criticism for some of their views. However I think that it was worth it.
