If you don’t get a college education you could miss the opportunity to have a successful career. I have spoken to Chris Bynum and Derik Lochotki on why college is so important. I also asked them what happens if you missed out on college. It is important to get a college education, and it could lead to great benefits in the future. First, in the past people with a high school diploma could get a simple job and live in a decent home.
Effects of going to College. College in general has a big impact on our life and careers. I do think that its important you go to a post secondary school that has the required prerequisites for your field of education, and that has the ability to challenge you. What's more important is that you take the advantage of opportunities at any college that you choose to go to. The importance of getting a college education makes a person strong and more confident about them selfs.
In the world we live in today. Going to college is no longer a choice, or privilege, but rather a need for a brighter future . So the big question that happens to be going around is, “Is College really worth it?”According to Andrew J. The answer to that question is yes. Though there are many individuals who believe that college is not for everyone, attending college and getting a higher education can open the gates to many tremendous life changing opportunities such as becoming healthier, begin able to secure jobs, and earning more financially.
If one pursues their dreams and ambitions, he or she can be open to many more of the opportunities this world has to offer. College is the very first step to becoming successful and these days a college education is not something that you should have; it is something that should be essential. That being said, it is nearly impossible to get an excellent paying job without a college degree. I have learned that college is not just a choice; it is the start of a lifelong journey, one that could potentially shape and determine future choices, decisions and purposes. As opposed to generations of the past, high school graduates today are unable to obtain the number of high-paying jobs that were once available.
Why college is important to me When most people think of education, they think of getting to a great college, which is awesome, but I believe there are other ways a good education will help me. Education is important because without one, or with a bad one, or with a bad one, you feel disconnected from the world, and you can’t really live a successful life. With a decent education I can change the world, or at least make a major difference. I am not entirely sure how I can make a difference, but I know a good education will help. I think a good education is imperative because it will influence my life in the future.
The passage of the “Pick the Public’s Pocket No More” bill would lower college application rates, lower college graduation rates, and lower our country’s number of new college graduates for open positions in the work force. Without grants, many Americans would not be able to pursue college degrees because of the debt they would acquire financing their degree with loans alone. Federal grants allow young adults, who are the future of our country, to pursue a college degree without the full burden of college debts after graduation. Unfortunately, taking a gap year is not for everybody. It takes a lot of self-motivation and a sense of direction in life. College offers structure for those who feel lost. Also, the gap year suits people that want to be business owners, entrepreneurs or those who plan to work at one corporation and just move up the ladder. In order to be a doctor, college is definitely the only option.
The best of the best will receive the jobs they worked towards and deserve. Judy had the drive to continue on to college and graduate with a degree. But she didn’t have the drive to search and find a job after that. Due to this, her degree has become useless. She could have chosen a more in demand major, or she could be the driven college student she once was and have the motivation to pursue her dream.

As today, the economy growth in the world is becoming more competitive so a college education is extremely important.
I have four requirements that need to be met including, 3.0 GPA or higher, 18 or higher on the ACT, 95% attendance, and a high school diploma. I support free community college because it gives opportunities, it can lower the unemployment rate, and save money. Free community college can give opportunities to lower class people who can’t afford college. If these people want to go to college, but they can’t, now they would be able to. They would be able to receive an education to help them get a job and make money.
