Success is also something that is viewed differently in the eyes of everyone. This is because success means doing what you have always wanted to do, being where you have always wanted to be. If a man’s goal in life is to eventually get married to a good wife and have many happy children, and he accomplishes that, then he could view himself as having success. Success basically means being happy with what you are doing in life. Success is in some ways a state of the mind.
To begin with, celebrity is fame and public attention in media, usually applied to a person or group of people for example; footballer David Beckham is famous, not just for his sporting achievements but his fashion, product endorsements and his marriage to pop star Victoria Beckham. Teenagers are extremely fascinated with celebrity culture. In this age range, they are going through a
Everyone knows that many professional athletes are paid very, very well. However, many of these athletes also routinely give of their money and time to charitable causes. Volunteering for an important cause is a role-model quality that many athletes possess and that people should strive to emulate. Athletes are good role models because they are symbols of success. Most athletes are not born with a silver spoon in their mouth they work hard for the title there given so they can become successful in the near future.
I ran into this a lot when I was in the Marine Corps a lot of the men a women that joined where just doing it so they felt important and had that sense of self-worth to themselves and to others. I feel that the conflict perspective is the best way to study sports because I feel that a lot of sports professionals participate in sports for the money power and fame. Success is personal, but the degree of a person’s focus distinguishes the uppermost achievers from the rest of the mass of humanity. Focus is attention extended for long periods of time. It makes the biggest difference in life. A person who finds one interest by chance and sticks to it so as to develop a specific skill, will more readily develop a full passionate avocation that can eventually lead to a life-long career. Formal education, high IQ or talent don’t automatically cause an early beginner to make it to the top.
A hero does not actually have to be a man. A hero can be anyone who distinguishes exceptional courage, nobility, and strength. Heroes that I draw most attention to are Military, Public Safety, and Teachers. Although the public does not always see these selected few as heroes, they are. But people often see success as a feeling rather than a benchmark in their life. For someone to feel successful, happiness must exist somewhere in the equation. The right kind of happiness can lead to successful habits.

In this life or existence that we live, choices come at us every day that can only be answered by us.
Being a Role Model to Today’s Youth In today's world, athletes are looked up to by all ages. Everyone loves them. They look great in the eyes of the everyday public. They appear on television, they perform like rock stars, and do this with the entire world watching. No wonder we make heroes out of our favorites.
Through a study of the arts we can see that happiness is not only a state of being, caused by achieving success in life, but also a state of mind that can be achieved no matter what a person’s circumstances may be. Since ancient times, philosophers have agreed that happiness is an especially important goal for all mankind. It could be considered as the only goal that is an end unto itself. If one achieves wealth, love, power, or any other think one may reach for in life, there is still no guarantee that one will be happy. If one is able to achieve happiness, however, what would then be left to desire?
