Who is your hero? When such question comes to mind, the majority of people name their parents or any other person who has inspired them or they are impressed with, such as their teacher, someone in their community or their doctor. However, many people will also answer that the famous superstars and sports players are heroes because they are the ones who are always appeared and shown on television and there has always been something about them on news. These superstars and sports players or politicians are respected in the society and shown on media. People want to become successful like them and want to live as happy and as comfortably as them as they seem to live. However, this should not be the reality as superstars, sports player or politicians do not fit exactly the definition for hero. So then, who exactly is a hero? A hero is someone who is known for his/her achievements and his/her extra ordinary qualities. A Hero is someone who is brave and courageous and extremely devoted to the vision s/he has. A hero is a sincere person who cares for the wellbeing and prosperities of others without seeking any personal interest or fame. A hero is someone who goes beyond one’s expectations which simply doesn’t happen dramatically. Sara Galinsky, from the Echoing Green Foundation, says, “It’s not usually a dramatic moment; it’s a gathering of moments, but it’s very clear when something gathers such force that you can’t ignore it.” It means that every single moment after one another builds up on and makes a collection of moments which turns to a force that you can’t ignore it and this force causes a hero to struggle and keep trying to achieve success and turn his/her dream into reality.
