Ensure domestic tranquility; to accept the views of others so that we may keep the peace amongst ourselves. Provide for the common defense; we shall uphold and protect our given rights as well as those of others from oppression, and protect them in accordance to legislative law. Promote the general welfare; to acknowledge and uplift others, so that society, as a whole can progress forward. The term “marriage” in numerous aspects is affiliated with religion, therefore in order to maintain and or promote a more perfect union, we shall not ordain the term “marriage” acceptable nor in any manner appropriate in the proposed bill or within any revision of the proposal. So in regards of justice being equally distributed among all United States Citizens, “We the People” hereby request and propose that the following section be brought forward to the attention of Congress and or its constituents; so that it may be ratified and or revised as an amendment to our United Sates
