So the question is why are people lead to the consumption of fast food in the first place? Some typical causes of fast food are the additive taste of the food, the advertising of food, the expense of the food, both parents are working, and longer hours at work. Everyday companies are trying to find new ways to keep customers at their restaurants.

Those who deal with obesity usually see it as a problem but realized it too late, and struggle to make things rights. Many blame others or make excuses for their obesity, which is really a result of their own free will. Therefore, in some cases, others pay the consequences of those poor choices. Balko uses logos to explain that the people of America need to start taking responsibility for their own health, particularly with diet and obesity, because those are results of their own choices.
People don’t realize what they are doing for our future generations. Because of how fast food companies are targeting younger children, they are setting up their minds to automatically want fast food. In some minds this is repulsive in others its just another way to make a lump of money. Our world is changing very quickly and fast food restaurants are popping up faster than the flowers in spring.
