When you offend that person, it is then when you have to be the bigger person and fix things. If not, the work place will not be very comfortable to work in for the both of you and it could effect the people around you, too. Another example in this area would be how you spend your time. Time management is very important in all aspects of life.
As I am completing my qualification I can link a number of barriers that include time management, needs of the Home and family commitment. Due to my preferred method of learning at times I need some extra time and support in producing sections of work which in turn impacts on my duties within the Home which overspills into my personal life. Being responsive in communication has a very specific, but obvious meaning once you know what it is, and responsiveness is absolutely critical for creating better relationships, trust, and rapport with people at home and at work. We consciously and subconsciously apply these skills in our everyday lives. Responsiveness refers to the fact that what you say, responds clearly and directly, to what the other person just said. If you are being responsive, the other person knows you are paying attention, and cares enough about what he or she is talking about to respond and be direct. I exercise this on a daily basis at home and in my professional career.
