Underage Driving Under the Influence Law There are many consequences of driving under the influence. Rather you get caught or not, eventually in time you will and there are prices to pay. “Influence” means being controlled or affected by the ingestion of an alcoholic beverage or similar intoxicant, or any combination thereof, to such a degree that the drivers reactions, motor skills, and judgment are altered or diminished, even to the slightest scale, and the underage driver, therefore, dude to inexperience and lack of skill, constitutes a danger of physical injury or death to himself and other motorist or pedestrians. Other wise to sum up the definition, is driving illegal and putting yourself and others in the position of getting hurt, or possible death. My best friend and my boyfriend were recently in a motor vehicle accident and it didn’t turn out to well. They were both messed up that night of the accident and the outcome was my boyfriend being seriously injured and my best friend dying. They were just out having fun and driving around. But the point is, that there having fun wasn’t the type they should have been having. When it all came down to it, somebody died. And I think we could all say that having somebody that you love die, isn’t too much fun at all. But that is the worst of the consequences. There are many other things that could possibly happen also. You may have fines to pay. Any person who pleads guilty or nolo contendere to or is found guilty of violating this law shall be fined. No less than one hundred dollars and not more than five hundred. But that is just your first offense. After you first offense you would have more to pay. You could have to work many public service hours. Any underage person who pleads guilty or nolo contendere to or is found guilty of violating this law shall be ordered by the court to perform public service work of the
