Chinese people (mostly in the rural areas) feel that school does not provide skills and and immediate success to their lives. Also, many poor families cannot afford to send their children to school. Fees for school are a main problem to the poor families because is money they don't have and the children are left to support their families. Even though the money the children obtain is so meager, it helps to put food on the table. The parents of this children don't really realize the conditions that they put their children in.
For a family of four that level is $22,000 annually or less. The thing, is a lot of people have to live way under that level because the jobs that they can get do not pay much at all. Many high school students are dropping out of school to get restaurant jobs to help their families out. Also, people who want to go back to school to better their lives can’t because the cost is too much and there is not enough aid to pay for college. Because of the recession many Americans are forced to leave their houses and move in with family.
Hold food drives, since so many of these people are starving and can't afford food. With food drives, a few dollars from each person, can make the world of a difference in providing food for these people to have at least two meals a day.
