Luckily for her, her cat Sosa came and attacked the snake. Sosa suffered a bite, protecting her owner and was rushed to the vet. Who said that cats can’t save lives? Cats can save people just as dogs can. People say that, “Dogs are a man’s best friend.” That might be true, but dogs are not only the animal friend whose companionship people enjoy.
Cats in the suburbs have to live with other people, not just with other cats, and they cannot be expected to understand the human notion of territory. Do pet owners have the right to make neighbours “share” their animals involuntarily, especially when cats exercise their feline rights to spray, dig gardens, and fight? The serious injuries seen most frequently by veterinarians are those caused by cars (next is injuries from falls). According to the Humane Society, free-roaming cats live shorter lives than those kept contained. Car accidents are a major contributor to the shorter life expectancy of outdoor cats.
Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH created a strong feeling on individuals. Most likely because individuals considered that someplace in this world mice and rats might actually be up amazing like this. Having re-read it as an adult, individuals observe currently that sensible and unsentimental style of writing of Robert C O'Brien creates it all appear probable (Charlotte, 1998). Although they recognized the conclusion, they still discovered themselves drawn into the story from begin to end and entirely won over through the rodents of the title. Helen Szazy Mr. Stettes English 101 April 24th, 2009 The TNR project Stray and feral cats are a serious problem in the United States. They can be found wherever there is a good food source for them, such as alleys and abandoned buildings. The cats are humanly trapped, then taken to the veterinarians, or wherever the event is taking place.
“Meow, meow, meow…,” is the sound you hear when you turn on the television and at the bottom of the screen in subtitles translated into English so we humans can understand is how much the cats love Meow Mix. At first the commercial has a catchy tune and you just want to burst out in song, at least some may want too, but that one commercial must be played at least a million times a day; it can become quite a nuisance if seen that much. In Terry O’Reilly’s essay “Marketing Ate Our Culture- But Doesn’t Have To,” he makes the point that we as an audience have the responsibility to watch more commercials. One of his points involves the “unwritten contract,” created by Albert Lasker. (O’Reaily 595-596).

One reason is to sharpen their claws and the other is called “kneading” a behavior that is also called “milk-treading”. By kneading the cat is taken back to the good old days when they would knead at momma’s breast to make her milk come down. It is believed they only do this to people they really love. It is perfectly natural for a cat to claw and knead.
