If language barriers are a problem, what actions might be taken to resolve this? The first step is to understand that cultural diversity is a mixture of races, cultures, backgrounds and ages and not only a matter of black and white. The next step would be to conduct regular cultural sensitivity awareness classes for the workers so they adhere to it and encourage not only one another but clients also. But it will require time, effort and thought. By planning you are able to cover what you want to write and how you would like it to look. If you decide not to plan you could find that you use non-relevant material or that the piece of work becomes confusing”.
The more they practice and the more teachers and parents instill this in their minds, the better they will become. Perfect practice, makes perfect. Most people would probably have trouble with trying to remember how they learned to read. I would have to say that I am a person who loves to read and I think that is it really an amazing thing. Also, I am someone who is involved in education and research and I think that it is amazing how learning to read is said to be a talent that it potentially impossible.

Summary/ Response Assignment O`Malley, Patrick. “More Learning, More Testing” In “More Testing, More Learning,” Patrick O`Malley suggests that college professors should give tests to the students periodically in order for the students to learn more. Furthermore, more tests or exams will minimize the student’s stress because students will be more familiar with the subjects that are given to them. Like the author says, “If professors gave an additional brief exams at frequent intervals, student would learn more, study more regularly, worry less, and perform better on midterms, finals, and other papers and projects.” (O`Malley, pg. 488).
A.1.a. Pre-K Strengths Because of the ever changing demographics in our system this can be very beneficial and has some great advantages with our program. With more non-English speaking children coming into our system this is encouraging our teachers to learn another language. In return it is helping with the language barrier we are facing in our current days. Our system could also look into hiring more teachers with the added benefit of speaking multiple languages and creating more jobs in our area.
Being able to see what has been being talked about in the class all week, makes learning easier for a visual learner. While attending school, you go to take in as much knowledge as possible. No one teacher teaches the same, so how do we fully comprehend what we are learning? Four different learning styles enable us to comprehend information at our best. Some people learn better by simply listening, others learn by being hands on.
An active learner is one who understands new information by doing something with it, and they strive to take a greater responsibility for their own learning, and they take advantage of extra credit opportunities. This fits my learning style very much so. When I am learning something I take what I learn and apply to my homework in that specific subject or use it in other subjects. Also I take responsibility for my own learning by going to get help on what I do not understand, and I always jump at the extra credit when it is available. An intuitive learner is one who prefers to take information in an abstract form such as ideas, images or ideas.

First is to help students develop a general knowledge of English spellings. Second, word study increases their specific knowledge of the spelling and meanings of words.
