I always felt the need to give back to the program because it was a program was run by volunteers, volunteering their free time to give kids something to do afterschool other than cause mischief being that is wasn’t in the best of neighborhoods. During middle school I also did similar volunteer work there to give me something extra to do afterschool on my free time. My overall accomplishment in doing this project is really to give back to the community from which I came from. Before the program starts I will go through a basic training giving me the skills I need to assist a program leader in running a class. As a volunteer, I will be observed by my mentor and other program leaders in my skills of helping to run a class and completing tasks assigned to me.
Above, I stated why the topics should be addressed and how important it is for children to have organizations to help better themselves, by being healthy, social, a developing the skills that they should by having open play and encounter with parents, friends, teachers and families. Next, information was given on how important nurture can be for children. Children receive nurturing through social-emotional development and cognitive growth development. Then we went on to discuss the long-term goals, which I believe that they will excel to the highest extreme. Last, we discussed the effectiveness and showed evidence of how it will be effective.
I believe that I should be head cheerleader because I am dedicated to everything that I do. I’ve been cheerleading since the age of five years old, and on a varsity level for two. I’ve participated on an All- Star team for two years. I’ve also served as the Youth Praise Dance Leader at my church for 6 years. My interpersonal skills have all been sharpened because of this endeavor.
I am responsible for helping the lead tutors to ensure that lessons are run smoothly from leading review lessons to assisting students personally when they are in doubt. I enjoy tutoring because I am able to share my knowledge and passion for the subjects with the students. Moreover, I have the opportunity to learn from the students, especially discovering newer and easier ways to help them understand and apply their knowledge in real life situations. At school, I am a part of the “Mentoring Younger Girls Programme” whereby I mentor a student. My role is to assist her with any problems that she may face, both academically and socially.

The Salvation Army has been aiding youth for over 125 years. Each community service center has a spiritual character developing program for young people; for instance, “Sunday school, troop programs, music classes, athletics, arts and crafts, camping, and familial services” (The Salvation Army, 2013) expected to aid care givers to stop the trend of crime and homelessness so children may have a bright future. Within the recent years, The Salvation Army has been helping more people than ever. On or about 30 million individuals have obtained aid from The Salvation Army in the year 2011 alone, but the weight of the mission The Salvation Army faces in societies in the United States continues to be great. In spreading the word of the work of the Salvation Army, one can possibly link the Salvation Army website on a blog, website, or Facebook Page.
Another equally important reason is that volunteering can help to increase students' self-confidence, self-esteem and life satisfaction. If students are doing a voluntary work, they deserve to be proud of themselves as they are doing good things for others and
My high school does a mandatory community service every year and I can honestly say it brings out the good in people. I support community service a hundred percent. You will notice a difference in the kids that serve and the ones that don't. I hope all schools keep mandating community
We can serve our nation by being united as we having one objections and one goal we may able to attain the works easily. We can do that by participating in any programs in our community. As a youth we can join what they called “SK” or Sanguniang Kabataan. Being SK, they have to be a role model to other youth or in all Filipino citizens. And also being SK is not easy, but it’s a pleasure to serve and protect our fellow citizen and students.
