I currently work with children with disability in the Zachary Community School System and love every minute because you get an opportunity to reach out to children who never really had chance and to be able to give them a chance is very rewarding. I chose this study because many children are growing up fatherless and there are not many men in the Education field. My life goals are numerous but one that comes to mind is to change the way people see the field of Physical
Week 1 Assignment Hi Professor Beckett, This is the link to my website. Hope I did this right =) http://648913701206793004.weebly.com/ Trends/Issues-Head Start and Early Head Start were programs that were organized for low-income/poverty families. These programs are usually free to those families that qualify. Many times families run into hardships or even for our young teen moms want to finish school they now have an opportunity to receive free childcare while they get on their feet. These programs also offer other programs that help families in need such as free diapers, milk, clothing, and housing/shelter assistance.
I am very interested in starting a specific service project my junior year for CAS hours and this would be a great help to me with that. I think that I would be a valuable attendee to CASL because I am a freshman. Anything I learn can be used for all the rest of my four years of high school. I would also be a valuable attendee to the CASL conference because I would easily be able to make up the work that I miss on that Monday from school. I am also one of the older ones out of all my classmates so I would like to go to CASL so that I can learn to be a better leader to those who might look up to me.
As president I want to make sure Homecoming pans out right because it is one of the major things we are responsible for. I plan to keep also events organized and I would like to raise awareness of guidance counselors because I feel they play a crucial role for us but kids only realize that in junior year. 4. As many as needed. I’d estimate around 20 or so hours went into it this past year.
I used time management to ensure that I met each of my four week deadlines, having done the work to the standard required. I would then post my workbook to the college for the set dates, and resubmit any questions that I had not met the criteria for. I received my certificate after completing the work
Senior Project Journal Entries 1. You must write a journal entry every time you document hours for your senior project. In other words, every time you work on your project you need to complete a journal entry. At the end of your project, your journal entries should read like “the story” of your Senior Project experience. You must have a minimum of 12 entries by the end of your project, and 15 hours must be spent WITH your mentor.
I also made life-long friendships, and I am still meeting new people at our meetings that we have during the school year. The summer before my junior year of high school I attended my 10-day residential Junior Conference at Christian Brothers University. Entering the program I had mixed feelings because I was so excited to meet new people, but at the same time I was extremely nervous because I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
Having those people show how school has provided them with success motivates the students whether they are college bound or not. It is this piece of collaboration that could make or break a student’s choice to stay in school. (Guinter,2011) These high school students must volunteer ten hours in the community as part of the graduation requirement. If possible, providing volunteer opportunities where these high school students may see how fortunate they are would be a way to improve collaboration. The non-profit agencies are usually in need of volunteers.
I practice every day making sure that I will do the right moves, so I could do a good job at my performance that I will be doing at Deland Park on the Memorial Day this year. Next, the one and only goal that I finally succeeded was to finally work out every day at school. I’ve accomplish this goal this year, even though I just started for only a couple of weeks now, I know I will keep going. I want to stay healthy, fit and happy. My needs besides food, water and shelter, I need music in my life.
