In this experience, it enabled me to observe different health practitioners that were involved with the resident’s care. Such as what the role of the care worker is, how they helped the residents at the care home. Observed how the occupational therapist worked well with residents, enable them to regain their independence life back. At the care home, I demonstrated how to deal with different situations. It made me realise that occupational therapy was what I want to specialise in.
