1. What is the Reddit? Answer: Reddit is a website that allows for posts to be thumbed up or down and their home page us based on the popularity rates. The more thumbs up a post are given, the more popular it is. The most popular posts make it on the home page. 2. Describe the "Mister Splashy Pants" campaign. How did it start? What happened? Answer: The “Mister Splashy Pants” campaign started to stop Japan from killing whales and Greenpeace adopted a whale and was voting on the name. Reddit exploded and everybody loved the name Mister Splashy Pants so everyone was voting for that and thumbing it up. It was a success and Japan ended up cancelling their whaling expedition. 3.
