Should People Become Vegetarians? Most people now days are trying to eat healthy and leave longer. In some areas People are finding it so challenging to adopt the routine of eating healthy food. I think if we all could become vegetarian, the world could be happier place and see longer lasting lives. If we succeed, this could help in so may ways, like people would live longer, we could minimize different disease and save animals live. Even though it is not easy to become vegetarian, it is better for the world we leave in. In twenty centuries more people would like to live longer and able to see they grandchild glow up. I think that if we eat vegetarian food like tofu, dark leafy greens like kale, spinach, collard greens and fortified cereals ect. This will help us absorb more calcium in our bones and make us strong. I also think If people are eating health food, we will start to see people spend more time out side do different activities and be active through out their lives. The Adventist Health Study is being conducted by Loma Linda University School of Public Health in California. The most recent data from the study indicates that Vegetarian Adventist men live to an average of 83.3 years – 9.5 years longer than other Californians. Vegetarian women live an average of 85.7 years, which is 6.1 years longer than non-vegetarians (Examiner.com). This study shows us the average age is between 80-85 years however we could retire and still have time to enjoy our live and raise grandchild. Be on vegetarian diet will help minimize different disease in our body’s. Those who eat vegetarian foods, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, and whole grains have fewer risk factors for heart disease.
