Although the police suspected that her husband Kevin, who had brought her to the emergency room, had harmed Dana, they drop any charges against him because they have no proof and Dana insists to them that he is not responsible. She finds herself standing on the bank of a river, where she sees a four-year-old red-headed boy drowning and his mother frantically screaming on the bank. That just shows how much he wanted to express her isolation.
