Bush speech on the 9-11 attack On September 11, 2001 President Bush “Address to the Nation on 9-11-01” spoke on the series of deadly terrorist acts that took thousands of lives. In Bush’s view, “these acts of mass murder were intended to frighten our nation into chaos and retreat”. However, they failed because according to Bush we have the strongest country in the world. I feel no one deserved to go through such a lost. The anger the terrorist had against America is unethical. It does not make it right. Bush points out that, “Terrorist attacks can shake the foundation of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America”. Our nation has always been strong but these evil acts have affected many. The nation came together to give blood and help in anyway. Bush’s speech was a chance to get Americans back together. He gave facts on this tragic event but still a better explanation was needed. This dramatic event will never be forgotten. Now laws have been changed at airports. The security is strictly enforced. Before September 11, 2001 people weren’t getting searched like they are today. The change made flying more secure and safe for individuals. Prayers were sent to those that grieved. The murders were uncaused for and evil. Freedom was taken for no apparent reason. Bush knew more than what he spoke of. The military was powerful and is now ready for anything. The emergency team was helpful is caring for the well-being of the nation. The financial institution remained strong. American businesses later were open for business. The people must defend their selves and pull together to prevent terrorist attacks. The president and its team will continue to protect the nation to assure another tragic won’t
