Pondering on my thoughts, I came to the conclusion that some of this has to be because of the fact that the cafeteria serves unhealthy food for the students. Another factor is that the cafeteria is set up in a way to be a buffet. This makes people go back for seconds, thirds, and even sometimes fourths. This is an astonishing fact that the food served could be processed deep fat fried chicken or even just plain old burgers. The fact of the matter is that this becomes a daunting way of how people become overweight.
She answered a few questions from several students and stated that everyone should know what they are doing and to start on their assignment. John still had his hand raised and was told by the teacher to put his hand down, she never bothered to answer his question. She basically ignored him, and he began to talk out loud to himself. The teacher looked up from her desk and he stopped, he then escalated his noise level by tapping his hands on his desk. Once again the teacher looked up at him, and informed him that if he continued to disrupt the class she was going to write him up.
This chapter takes place directly after the fight to sell the chocolates. Jerry Renault finally builds enough courage to go to school the day right after the fight, but when he gets to school everyone is looking at him and talking about the fight and how they are all in trouble for the fight only for some teacher told the Dean of Students what had been going on. As the day goes on all of the nerdy kids are looking up to jerry and being thankful to him. But on the other hand all of the vigils and the more popular guys are even madder at Jerry and he just doesn’t understand why or what he may have done. Jerry’s day has been going pretty good other than being beat up the day before.
One sausage and one hash brown for breakfast just doesn't cut it. All of these problems require an improvement in the quality of LSMSA food. Currently, the food here has a lot to be desired. Most of the food, and surprisingly even the fried food, taste extremely bland. LSMSA students are being repelled by the blandness.
Everybody was laughing and having fun and I felt like I wanted to be there with my classmates and not in the cold, obscure room with the math teacher. I wanted to be like everybody else I did not want to go to school and be in the classroom alone while my classmates were having so much fun! Of course, my parents had to go to school the next day and my grades were affected as well. That was an unpleasant day for many of us but we learned a lesson: sometimes it’s very easy to be like everybody else around you but it’s harder to make your own decision that can help you to reach higher goals in life without falling victim to bandwagon
“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view – until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” (pg. 30) is one of the lessons learned. No one in Maycomb puts themselves in Boo’s shoes, so they don’t understand his suffering. People don’t see his true intelligence that was ruined by his cruel father; this makes Boo one of our most important mockingbirds. I see behavior like this everyday, as I walk down the high school halls, into the lunchroom, even just kids hanging out in town – there is always some one judging someone.
However, snitching is just a part of everyday school life. You will always have those students that will be more worried about others than themselves. When a student becomes more focused on getting others in trouble, there usually is an underlying issue. Therefore, the way to approach this form of misbehavior is to pull the student aside and talk to them. Remind them of the rules, and how to worry about themselves.
Many students come to the school with gold, diamond, or expensive jewelry. The bell would ring, and its time to go to the next class, walking through the crowded hallway with ll of that gold jewelry on. By the time they get to their next class room, they notice that their gold chain is missing. Students go to their officials and complain. Now the whole school is on lockdown, and no students are doing anything until they find the jewelry.
Multiple victims who are hurt from being bullied are starting to fail in school. There are many effects on bullying and some samples are thinking about suicide, scared of coming to school, and beginning to not care about school. There has been a great increase in deaths because of students getting bullied. The bullies scare the students so much that they do not want to come to school
Life of a student is a very stressful one, as you drag yourself to school around 7:40 you desperately try to find friends that have completed a large sum of the mound of homework we were given the day before. Everyone lines themselves in the hallways trying to urgently scribble down answers. It comes to a point when you don’t even care if they are right or wrong as long as there is something there. The bell becomes your enemy, it is the sound of, “your screwed, ” blaring through your ears. Everybody
