Kyle Frederick Dr. Hall, 10:30 12/6/13 Bland Meals for Bland People Don't you just hate biting into food and realizing how awful it actually is? That's what LSMSA students have to experience every day. Not only does the food taste as terrible as a bag of rocks, but most of the fruits and vegetables are littered with brown spots of rot. Also, there isn't as many choices of food for all of the meals, either. One sausage and one hash brown for breakfast just doesn't cut it. All of these problems require an improvement in the quality of LSMSA food. Currently, the food here has a lot to be desired. Most of the food, and surprisingly even the fried food, taste extremely bland. LSMSA students are being repelled by the blandness. Fewer and fewer students are eating meals in our cafeteria because of this unresolved problem. Also, the salad bar has a small amount of food, and hardly any of it is fresh. Imagine having to bite into an apple, then having the taste of rot gushing out of the apple and onto your taste buds. It doesn't seem like a great thing to happen, does it? Students also dislike having a small range of food to choose from. Some people, such as myself, leave the cafeteria extremely upset. There just wasn't any food that I like all of the time. The service over there is terrible as well. There have been many times where I've come to the cafeteria only to wait ten minutes for the workers to get up and finally decide to serve us. What's worse than that? Those moments when fifteen people are waiting in line for something that the cafeteria workers just ran out of is way worse than that. If they increased their productivity, most of these problems wouldn't happen. I'd love it if I could go to the cafeteria everyday and be greeted by hard-workers. A simple solution to this problem would be buying slaves to cook the food. Slave labor always yields better
