CJ Woods Mr. Corbett University 101 Section 03 September 8, 2013 My reasons for college are probably just like everyone else’s. I went to college because I wanted a better life for myself. I wanted to find a job that I would not be living paycheck to paycheck like my parents have to. I mean, who really wants a life like that? I know I did not want that, and that is why I wanted to go to college, even more than is the main reason why I wanted to go to college. Another reason was I wanted to get a better education other than just a High school Diploma. Not many places would take many serious if they just had a High school Diploma. My final reason for wanting to go to college was that I wanted that college experience. I was fortune enough to get into college, so why not take advantage of it, and get the real college experience, since I did not really have that, High school Experience, this was my chance, to make up for it. My main reason for wanting to go to college is that I wanted to have a better life. I didn’t want to live my life, paycheck to paycheck, and worrying about whether or not, I am going to have enough money to pay to keep a roof over my head. My parents never went to college, and while they both have decent jobs, and make Okay money, it’s still would be easier for them, if they had gone to college, but they did not have the opportunity that I did. Not everyone can go to college to better themselves, but I was a lucky one, and I am blessed that I am getting a chance to make a better person out of myself, by going to college. College is important to me. I am the 1st one in my immediate family to go to college so it’s a big deal to everyone. I just do not want to let them down. Another reason why I decided to go to college was because in my recent experience in trying to find a job I realized that you employer takes you more seriously
