Danny Sanchez Period 1 Personal Statement Essay Living in Ramona all my life I have experienced many things. In Ramona I learned how to play soccer which was the best thing I learned how to do in Ramona. In Ramona I have met many friends and family. Here in Ramona I have found many hobbies to do. The things in this town made me who I am today. Therefore, there are many goals that I would like to accomplish in life. The most important thing that I learned and played in Ramona is soccer. I first started playing soccer when I was about 8 years old. I started off playing on a normal soccer team and when I was like 12 years old I played for a traveling team with better and experienced players. Another thing that I found in Ramona where my friends. I have great friends and I always like to hang out with them whenever I have time. Also I have found a lot of my family here in Ramona like my aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. I didn’t know I had a lot family here until later in life when my parents told me about them. I think the worst mistake that I have ever made in life was to not try at school. Me making that mistake really messed up me going to college and do what I want to do in life. I just wished I have pay more attention in class and get good grades. I have realized that I need to change for the good and make better choices the rest of my life. Some of the good choices I have made where to join sports so it could keep me away from trouble. I think if I had never chosen to do soccer I would be doing bad things with my life.
