Pursuing My Dream Transforming into a better self and pursuing my dream, means looking forward into the future, creating, and accomplishing my goals. My personal plan to succeed will be completion of a Master's program with motivation and perseverance. Maintaining a balance in my work and personal life will help me through graduate study. Schedules help you gain control of your life in two ways: They provide segments of time for things you have to do, and they remind you of events, due dates, responsibilities, and deadlines (Carter et al., 2011). In this paper, I will describe my personal and professional goals, the challenges and milestones, and the strategies to overcome these challenges. You will see how communication is key to success in my life and strategies to improve on those weaknesses. My personal goal is successful completion of my graduate degree and to maintain my personal life and extracurricular activities. My professional goals are to obtain my Master’s to be a better leader and communicator, collaborator, change maker, and motivator in the health care field. My short-term goal to accomplish this is to be a proficient student so that I can obtain my graduate degree. My long-term goal is to land a job in Nursing Education. My long-term goals are an open door with a large canvas, and the opportunity will be mine if I keep moving forward. This graduate program will help create a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse, devoted to delving into the future of nursing. My new job requires long hours and this challenge will be overcome
