I ask Aaron what he thought of the lake and he responds, “I'm surprised to see this many types of mushroom fruiting in early October. I guess last weeks rains brought the season with them early.” This last place was my favorite because I saw so much beauty here. Being on this trip changed my perspective about observing and that I need to observe more. The more I observed on this trip the more I saw how beautiful things were and that the trip helped me improve my seeing. This act of observation helped enhance the whole adventure.
The park was a popular meeting place. As she stood beneath the Morton Bay fig tree, she fought to keep the doubts about the meeting at bay. She watched a young woman stroll by, pushing a pram; early morning joggers, sweating and puffing their way up the rise in search of nirvana. An old man and woman walked arm in arm, each comforted by the other’s presence, lost in their own private realty. She looked at her watch.
Between the leaves of the trees, Columbus is pictured confidently striding, as if to mimic his steps when he discovered the New World. Imagine a fresh spring day, walking through the park as the wind rustles the leaves and squirells play in the trees. Walking on the path to be suddenly graced by a Columbus statue, reminisces of freedom, power, and discovery. If the statue had been placed elsewhere (e.g. Las Vegas), it’s importance would be considerably less.
He was so enchanted that he did not hesitate to follow her from the boulevard to the famous Love Street and waited until dusk hidden behind a bush. Right after dusk, he decided to do the impossible and climbed an apple tree and jumped on to Pamela’s deck. Jim found Pamela standing next to the door watching him risk his life just to introduce himself. Once Jim was facing Pamela, she calmly asked him “Do you have a problem with doors?” Jim answer was a short, but passionate “sometimes…” followed by a soft warm kiss. After that Jim vanished into the night saying “You are the one.” The Doors.
He promised, hand on heart, to take good care of me and have me home for dinner on Christmas Eve” (Wolff 1). He was very attentive and tried his best to make things work. Unlike the type of father that is characterized in “Powder” the father in “Reunion” seems to be less attentive to his son. For Charlie’s father appears to be trying to pick fights with waiters saying things like
The winter in Chicago was cold and before long William asked Marissa how she would feel about taking a trip to California. He had some business there. They could fly from California to Hawaii and enjoy a week at the beach. She was touched. He had presented this idea to her with a dozen red roses, a box of Godiva Chocolates and airplane tickets.
There, we were able to see how the famous ‘Belgium chocolate’ was made. We also got a chance to see how lace was created. After seeing how things were done there, we took a horse drawn carriage through a historic town for a chance to just relax and enjoy the company of each other. After that nice break it was back the ball. We visited the Menin Gate memorial and the Flanders Field Memorial as well as the museum before traveling to The Netherlands.
It looked very alive with all the colorful leaves. I learned that Armstrong County is full of activities to do. Since there are a lot of trails and lakes, it is a great place to go if you are an outdoor kind of person. If I had the opportunity to go to this county, I would not pass up the chance. I would love to walk on the trails of the parks and go fishing and boating in the lakes.
This past weekend I was able to take a trip out to Charlottesville Va to see the Monticello which is the home of Thomas Jefferson. I had a wonderful time there and I loved all of the views that you get of the great mountain sides inside the house. I took a trip out there to see my old high school football team play in the State Championship game. It’s a little expensive to see the house, it cost us 17 dollars a piece to get a tour of the beautiful place, and it was well worth every penny. The whole place is great from the welcome center, Shops and the Monticello it’s self.
ALGONQUIN PARK The most beautiful place to visit during spring is Algonquin Park, Ontario. A large green meadow sincerely welcomes me as I stand in the luscious green grass I look at the gorgeous sight in front of me. The vast wilderness area provides many different kinds of wild flowers that grow in the mountains and meadows. They include elegant yellow daisies, beautiful violet tulips, and narcissus which put forward the most delicious smells. Looking at these graceful flowers that twist in the wind, nature is like a bride walking down a hallway.
