Chicago, the windy city, is one of the largest cities in the Midwest. It is an old city and holds history back to 1833. It was made the transportation hub for all its roads, rail, water, and later air connections. The Sears tower was the tallest building in 1970 reaching its height 1451 feet. Labor unions, industry, commerce, immigration, and politics helped build this city. Do not forget the outfit led most of corrupt business in this city. Marissa, a tall, slender brunette with deep blue eyes and an olive complexion, made her way to her work at the Hartford Financial and Insurance Services Group. Inc. Large rooms with plush oriental carpets throughout the house, mahogany furniture with inlays, nice crystal chandeliers, and comfortable leather sofas. Her father occupied one side of the house. His study and library adjacent to his large bedroom with a beautiful view of the golf course. He would walk out at night onto the deck, with a glass of scotch and smoking his pipe. He had served most of his life as a judiciary court and was recently nominated for a position on the Supreme Court. He had put many behind bars. The winter in Chicago was cold and before long William asked Marissa how she would feel about taking a trip to California. He had some business there. They could fly from California to Hawaii and enjoy a week at the beach. She was touched. He had presented this idea to her with a dozen red roses, a box of Godiva Chocolates and airplane tickets. The rooms were booked at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. She accepted the invitation and looked forward to the beach. They had adjoining rooms with a living-room that connected them. She was so caught off guard when the phone rang, she heard William answer it with a bit of a whisper. She could him stating, “I am on my way, I will be right there.” She thought that appeared a little odd but dismissed it right away. She thought to herself that he did have business there. He came into her suite and explained he had to leave for a meeting. He would be busy for an hour, and if she felt like it she could come and join him in the lounge at that time.
