“The Drunkard” Questions 1. The humor in this story appears when the son is thirsty and gets drunk off of his father’s drink. The humor arises because of the situation and because of the boy’s drunken observations of life. While drunk, the little boy seems to overreact to the situations, a problem that results from intoxication, and his overanalyzed perception of the occurrences are what is funny. It is funny when the boy begins to sing and sings even louder because he believes his father missed the point of his singing, and the fact that the boy is doing everything the drunken father would have done is humorous too.

Why do we have to pay for other peoples mistakes? In the book “Flight” by Sherman Alexie Zits deals with many disappointments in life. One of his biggest disappointments is not having a father or someone that loves him like he wants to be love, “My father was a drunk, too more in love with beer and vodka than with my mother and me. He vanished like a cruel magician about two minutes after I was born” (Alexie4). This most of been hard for him to know that his dad didn’t care for him and that he only cared about his beer and vodka.

Victor was looking at his father drinking alcohol and making a fool of himself, not knowing what to say or do. Victor Just lashed out showing all his anger by throwing unopened beer bottles at the house. Victor was showing that he was feed up with everything between his father and mother. He’s father did not see the anger in Victor. He was so messed up and confused with drinking and the problems he had of his own.
The lighting was not a big part of the production, but the incorporated movie clips, as well as the costumes were a main part in creating the theme. The presentation of dances, were presented very clean with a large amount of variation in technique. Each of the tap dancers had a unique way they carried themselves on stage. A few of the female dancers had light movement with strong taps, while the others would use a lot of movement in both arms and feet. The combination of both male and female dancers’ provided the audience with different varieties of tap.

The intoxicated man was yelling at his wife and twisted her arm. That is unwanted contact and the intoxicated man can be found liable for guilty of that. Even though the intoxicated man and Jane are married, it is not okay for the intoxicated man to treat Jane that way. Domestic Battery charges could be brought up on the intoxicated man, since Jane and he are husband and wife focus on the tort – not the crime. Mr. McPhillen can also be sued for charged with the intentional torts of Assault and Battery.

Dancing is so important that a dance arena which can be referred to as the village square, the street, the courtyard, town plaza or a sacred places where only particular ritual are observed. The dances are expressions of emotion as well as dancing for necessities to the ancestors. Dance expresses the emotions of love; during a wedding, sadness, hope for rain to clear the drought and without emotion included in the dances, there is no African dance in itself. When dancing, a rhythm is associated with the movements.
