Assessment 1 1) Perform research on the topic of personal work planning. In your own words, explain the importance of creating and maintaining personal work plans. If you are not working, but are part of an association or know of an organisation, please answer the question accordingly. It's important to develop effective strategies for managing our time at work to balance the time for more and less important or urgent and important tasks rather than those that are not so important. A personal work plan helps us to stay organized, meet deadlines and complete all the tasks involved in our job.
Keeping each week’s tasks and goals in mind probably improves my chances in being successful in life. Self-Assurance I rely on my drives to decide how to react appropriately to a situation, or an individual, or a crowd. Driven by my talents, I personally feel content too steady improvements I make as an individual throughout life. I have confidence in my talents and knowledge. Infrequently I trust myself enough to test my own endurance and swiftness.
Listening to my inner coach has made me restore faith in my abilities, is supportive, and leaves a feel-good effect. Session 7 saw us identify areas of our own lives that may be causing stress, which for me is finding a balance between work and university. The belief behind this stress is that I must do well at uni, and give it priority to everything else, but I must also earn some money to survive, so as not to feel as though my partner is ‘carrying’ me. When I thought about the underlying issues of the stress, I realised that it was mainly due to the fact that my time management was lacking, so the plan that I developed to reduce this stress in my life was to prioritise my time better. This plan included: * Telling work that I could only do 2 days a week, being Mondays and Fridays * Getting a calendar to work out when all university assessments were due, so that I always have it out in front of me * Making a timetable of when I’m at school, work and fit home study time into the

I know that most of my life I have been in the Constructive style, but I was expecting higher scores in the Aggressive/Defensive styles. It actually took me a few days to determine how these two manifest in my personal and work life. I would say that I am an Affiliative person. I enjoy sharing responsibilities and getting others involved in completing tasks and assignments. In addition, I get pleasure from being able to sustain a satisfying relationship.
I will be able to surround myself with positive people who give me the confidence and optimism to keep moving forward in my life. I will be able to weed out the people that put out negative vibes. I also know that owning my own business is a very risky proposition. At the same time I know that with risk comes reward. A lot of people thrive on the routine of their job, performing the same tasks day after day.
